Do I need to refrigerate my Hue Dough?

No. We do not recommend storing your Hue Dough in a refrigerator. A mild place like a shelf or cupboard works great.

We also recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight for temperature control + color fading.

How fresh is Hue Dough?

All Hue Dough is made to order for full freshness.

What is Hue Dough made of?

All natural baking ingredients + plant colorants + essential oils.

No harmful dyes or perfumes.

No nuts.

Gluten free flour in our GF Hue Dough.

Why plastic instead of glass?

We want to ensure Hue Dough is as environmentally safe as possible. While glass is preferred, excess protective packaging to ensure no breakage seemed counter intuitive. We also want to avoid breakage during play + lower shipping costs for you.

We use PET which is lightweight + shatter resistant + recyclable. It still looks great on your shelf, safe in little ones hands + can be reused for loose parts afterwards.

What is the recommended age for Hue Dough?

All of our labelling and packaging states 3+ years of age. With adult supervision. 

Because Hue Dough is malleable and can be separated into small parts, it poses a chocking hazard. 

Some of our stamps + accessories also are considered a chocking hazard, and as a result labeled 3+. Please use with adult supervision.

Can I eat Hue Dough?

No. While we use natural baking ingredients + plant colorants + essential oils, our product is considered a toy and not for consumption.

#HueDoughYou just don't eat me. Even though I am natural, my high salt content can be harmful for pets/children if ingested in large amounts.

Seek medical attention if you suspect chocking or high salt ingestion.

What do you mean by nut free?

We process and package all our Hue Dough in a nut free environment with nut free ingredients.

But with any new product, please do use with caution. If an allergic reaction occurs please discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately. Always read and follow the label.

Coconut and nutmeg are not considered tree nuts for the purposes of food allergen labelling in Canada and are not usually restricted from the diet of someone allergic to tree nuts.

Why Gluten Free Hue Dough?

We want to be inclusive of all families who want to play with our Natural Sensory Dough™️. We became aware that some individuals experience a hive reaction when touching wheat.

So we created our own gluten free option for those individuals to enjoy.

How do you calculate shipping costs?

Shipping is calculated on weight. Because playdough is heavy, shipping costs reflect that.

Do you have local pick up?

Yes! You can choose local pick up if you are located in the Fraser Valley.

Local pickup is located in East Abbotsford, and address will be provided at order confirmation.

Do you offer tracking on your parcels?

Yes, all parcels from HUED will have a tracking number provided.

What are your estimated shipping times?

What happens if my package is sent back to you?

It is not our responsibility for us to resend your order. It also doesn't warrant a refund.

We will notify you with details of your package and will send an invoice to reship. Shipments will be sent after payment is received.

What happens if my package is lost or damaged?

All parcels have a tracking number, but we do understand things can still get lost.

If your parcel was lost or damaged in route, we ask that you first open a claim number with the shipping service provided. Then get in contact with us for resolution.

I'd like to return an item. What do I do?

If you are not happy with your purchase, please send it back and we will credit you with a full refund at purchase (excluding shipping or return shipping) or a replacement of purchase.

We want to make sure you are 100% happy with your choice for natural creative play in your home.
